AcroYoga Tribal Fusion in Paris

Sometimes, the best way to create movement is to find stillness. Challenge myself to embrace stillness in order to better enable dynamic possibility. This video is a collaboration between two professional movers and shakers after playing together for only two hours (if that). Daniel does AcroYoga (among a few other things). Ansma does Tribal Fusion (among a lot of other things).

Last Summer, I taught a beginnermediate workshop in Paris. A good friend of mine from San Francisco warned me that a massively talented b-girl liquid tribal bellydancer might show up. Lo and behold, he was right. We said hello, talked briefly about said mutual friend, and the workshop began. She jettisoned off immediately afterwards in pursuit of another training appointment, right after thanking me for the memorable experience and offering an invitation to collaborate again sometime in the future should I ever return to France.

I did. It happened. On a rare winter day in Paris both cold and sunny, we set out on a walk with one goal in mind: organically create without planning. Anasma had very little experience with Acro, yet moved like a natural after a few minutes. It took hours to find the right spot. Once we did, she hopped on my feet and this is what happened.
